Pre-flashed with the latest Z-Stack Home 1.2 firmware by Koenkk for Zigbee2MQTT. (CC2531ZNP-Prod.hex) Ideal for use with Home Assistant. You have a choice of either Coordinator, Router or Custom firmware.
Your network should have one Coordinator but can have multiple Routers. Zigbee is a mesh network so by adding more Routers you can expand the coverage of the network throughout your home.
If you require specific firmware flashed to your device please select ‘Custom Firmware‘ when purchasing and we will contact you to obtain the hex.
If you are not sure which firmware you require please contact me and I will gladly assist you in selecting the appropriate device or firmware for your setup.

I have had Hue lights for a few years now. Along with the motion sensors and the Ikea Tradfri GU10 bulbs I quickly hit the limits of the Hue hub.
Using this tiny little USB stick I have overcome the device limits but have also drastically improved the responsiveness of the motion sensors with Home Assistant.
If you use Home Assistant and have Zigbee devices this little USB stick is worth a look.

My home has quite thick walls so the range of one CC2531 without the antenna wasn’t really up to it but added a second one with the router firmware and it sorted the issues out. My only criticism is that they are bare boards and as such are delicate but if you keep them out of reach of nosy kids then they should be perfectly fine!
